Join Heraa Khan for an evening of masavari, traditional Indo-Persian miniature painting. Surrounded by her solo exhibition, Still the Grass Grows, participants will learn about the tools, materials, and rituals that have been part of this painting practice since the days of the Mughal empires.

Join Heraa Khan for an evening of masavari, traditional Indo-Persian miniature painting. Surrounded by her solo exhibition, Still the Grass Grows, participants will learn about the tools, materials and rituals that have been part of this painting practice since the days of the Mughal empires (which ruled India and Pakistan from the 16th to the 19th century.)
An experienced teacher and brilliant artist, Heraa Khan's workshop will provide a unique hands-on introduction to the beautiful practice of masavari.
All materials will be provided, no previous experience needed.
